Remote Non-Profit Audit Manager (Top 100 firm)
About the position The Audit Manager position is focused on providing exceptional audit services to non-profit organizations. This role requires a candidate with extensive experience in public accounting, particularly within the non-profit sector, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while contributing to a rapidly growing firm recognized as a Top 100 firm in the U.S. Responsibilities • Manage audit engagements for non-profit clients • Lead and mentor a team of auditors • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations • Prepare and review financial statements and reports • Communicate effectively with clients regarding audit findings and recommendations • Develop and maintain client relationships • Assist in training and development of junior staff Requirements • CPA certification is required • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting • At least 1 year of experience in a managerial role • Heavy experience with non-profit organizations • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field • Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting is a plus • Experience with CCH ProSystems is a plus Nice-to-haves • Experience in tax compliance and planning for non-profits • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits • Salary range of $120k-$160k based on experience • Discretionary bonuses and spot bonuses • 401k matching • Medical, dental, and vision coverage with PPO and HMO plans • 25 days of paid time off (PTO) • Holidays and work/life balance Apply tot his job
