[Remote] Real Estate Tax Advisor

The Tax Advisor will provide tax planning and compliance services, prepare taxes, conduct audits, and develop strategies tailored to clients' financial situations. Responsibilities• Responding to tax and finance-related inquiries from leads and clients via email or the client portal• Drafting clear, thoughtful replies that reflect U.S.tax planning insights• Researching IRS rules and strategies to support client-specific planning• Preparing and reviewing U.S. tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1065, Schedule E, etc.)• Supporting clients with real estate, business, and entity-level tax strategies• Supporting the sales team in answering technical questions prospects may have on their follow-up calls• Onboarding clients and following up with them to make sure they’re going through the strategy in a reasonable time frame and making sure nothing falls through the cracks• Helping maintain client files, organize deliverables, and document planning notes• Collaborating with our marketing team to develop ideas for tax-related content, email campaigns, and educational materialSkills• 2+ years of experience in U.S.tax preparation (individual and/or small business returns)• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Proconnect, or similar• Excellent written English (you’ll draft client-facing emails and content ideas)• Comfortable with IRS research and interpreting publications• Understanding of common U.S. tax strategies (QBI, S-corp, SEP IRA, bolthires segregation, etc.)• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field• Experience with real estate tax strategies or investor clients• 2+ years of experience in tax advisory/planning• Background or skills in sales, marketing, or content collaboration• Masters in Tax Law or JD is a plus• EA, CPA or other relevant certification is a plusCompany Overview• Digb assists real estate investors in locating tax savings, planning, and filing taxes.It was founded in undefined, and is headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA, with a workforce of 2-10 employees.
