As a Script Typist, you will play a crucial role in converting audio and video content into accurate, well-formatted written scripts, contributing to the quality and accessibility of our diverse media offerings. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with exceptional typing skills and a keen eye for detail, regardless of formal education. Key Responsibilities• Transcribe audio and video content into clear, accurate, and grammatically correct written scripts.• Ensure all transcripts adhere to company-specific formatting guidelines and style guides. • Proofread and edit scripts for errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar. • Manage multiple transcription assignments, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines effectively. • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all content and company information. • Utilize transcription software and tools efficiently to enhance productivity and accuracy. Required Skills• Exceptional typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 WPM).• Flawless command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies. • Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., bolthires Word, bolthires Docs). • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a remote environment. • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
