[Remote] Senior Data Engineer ( Snowflake, DBT)

Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. S4S Tech LLC is seeking aSenior Data Engineer to join their growing Data Engineering team. The role involves transitioning legacy systems to a modern ELT architecture while designing and supporting data pipelines and ensuring data quality. Responsibilities• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support data pipelines and models using dbt, Snowflake, Fivetran, and SNP Glue• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and issues on the legacy stack and the modern stack• Implement data quality checks and tests using dbt and GitHub• Document and present on data pipeline and model logic, assumptions, and dependencies• Contribute to and improve data engineering best practices and standardsSkills• 5+ years of experience in data engineering• Self-starter, collaborator, and problem-solver capable of developing a production ready solution independently and with limited direction• Proficient in Unix command line, BASH scripting, and Perl (some experience)• Proficient in SQL, dbt Cloud, GitHub, and Snowflake• Experience with Fivetran, Census reverse ETL tool, and modern CI/CD & IAC tools• Experience with Python or similar language (Java, Scala, Javascript, C++)• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent• Experience with marketing data for physical products in retail spaceCompany Overview• S4S tech LLC is a Global Systems Integrator specializing in SOA and Connectivity, Process Integration, Commerce and Digital Experience, Cloud, Mobile and Big Data and Digital Experience.It was founded in 2019, and is headquartered in copley, OH, US, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
