The Insider Risk Forensic Investigator will lead investigations into insider threats and security incidents, utilizing digital forensics and behavioral analysis to mitigate risks and protect the organization’s assets. Responsibilities• Lead and manage end-to-end investigations into suspected insider threats, data breaches, intellectual property theft, fraud, and other security incidents• Collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence from endpoints, servers, cloud environments, and other data sources in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements• Utilize forensic tools and techniques to reconstruct events, identify root causes, and determine the scope and impact of incidents• Develop and implement investigative protocols, workflows, and best practices for insider risk investigations• Collaborate with Legal, HR, IT, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough and legally defensible investigations• Prepare detailed investigative reports and present findings to executive leadership• Monitor and analyze user behavior analytics, data loss prevention (DLP) alerts, and other security telemetry to proactively identify potential insider risks• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, investigative methodologies, and relevant laws and regulations• Mentor and train junior investigators and team members on forensic and investigative techniques• Support the development and continuous improvement of the organization’s insider risk programSkills• BS/BA degree or equivalent in digital investigation amp; forensic computing• 8+ years of experience in digital forensics, incident response, or insider threat investigations.• Experience with forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Cellebrite), SIEM, DLP, and endpoint detection platforms• Experience with behavioral analytics, user activity monitoring, and risk assessment methodologies• Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity Information System or related field• Exposure to programming, scripting and query languages such as Python, SQL• Experience with digital forensics as part of legal proceedings• Understanding of legal, regulatory, and privacy considerations related to investigationsBenefits• Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. • Stock:This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). • Paid Time Off: earned time off, as well as paid company holidays based on region• Paid Parental Leave: take up to six months off with your child after birth, adoption or foster care placement• Full Health Benefits Plans: options for 100% employer paid and minimum employee contribution health plans from day one of employment• Retirement Plans: select retirement and pension programs with potential for employer contributions• Learning and Development: options for coaching, online courses and education reimbursements• Compassionate Care Leave: paid time off following the loss of a loved one and other life-changing eventsCompany Overview• DocuSign helps small- and medium-sized businesses collect information, automate data workflows, and sign on various devices.It was founded in 2003, and is headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA, with a workforce of 5001-10000 employees.
