Remote Collections Representative Opportunity We are currently seeking experienced collections professionals to help service our large and growing portfolio. If you are an ambitious, results-oriented person with a natural gift for talking to people, we have an opportunity for you to come and join our team. This position will be 100% remote and expected to be available for shift requirements between the hours of 8:00am – 7:00pm CST Monday – Friday and 8:00am – 12:00pm CST on Saturday. Responsibilities As a Remote Collections Representative, you will be responsible for: Contacting customers to determine the reason for payment delinquency and negotiating payments. Handling accounts with speed and accuracy while maintaining professionalism. Confirming and/or negotiating payment arrangements, researching any discrepancies. Completing phone calls to meet required performance standards and metrics. Maintaining established objectives for delinquency, repossessions, and net losses; staying informed of changes in policies and procedures. Using computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting. Documenting all accounts accurately, clearly, and concisely noting the reason for delinquency. Responding with accurate information pertinent to the callers' questions using professionalism and integrity. Adhering to all state and federal laws in the handling of accounts. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills. Attention to detail. Professional phone etiquette. Good follow-up skills. Persuasive negotiation skills. Microsoft Windows and Internet-based applications experience required. Basic typing/data entry skills. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work a five-day workweek, including some Saturdays. Education & Experience We require: High School or Equivalent Required. Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business or related field may be used in lieu of experience. Prior experience in financial services or similar industry preferred.
