Senior Analyst, Global Insurance
About the positionResponsibilities• Support and lead day-to-day management of WVI's global travel accident and emergency evacuation insurance programs. • Compile and analyze data for underwriting and coverage placement processes. • Manage claims administration and loss forecasting for global insurance programs. • Develop and maintain systems for tracking and managing claims, including dashboards and databases. • Create reports, presentations, and training materials for Global Insurance. • Lead finance-related work for the department, including budget tracking and variance analysis.• Identify and mitigate risks to reduce claims across WVI's global insurance portfolio. • Engage in professional development to enhance knowledge in insurance and risk management. Requirements• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in insurance/risk management. • Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Ability to manage a high volume of work through prioritization and project management. • Fluency in English, both written and verbal; other languages are desirable.• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time. Nice-to-haves• Two to three years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a risk management capacity for a large global organization. • General knowledge of the commercial insurance marketplace and basic risk management principles. • Insurance-specific education or professional designations such as ARM, AIC, or broker licensing.
