As part of the arenaflex Foodservice & On-Premise (FSOP) Organization, the Senior Director II, Customer Strategic Insights plays a pivotal role in driving business growth, enhancing customer relationships, and elevating arenaflex's industry leadership. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing team that provides agile thought leadership, strategic utilization of leading-edge analytics resources, and forward-looking insights acumen that drives revenue and volume growth. Position Responsibilities The Senior Director II, Customer Strategic Insights will lead a team of seasoned professionals to define and steward industry, customer/consumer, and competitive insights that accelerate revenue and volume growth. This role will actively engage with current and future customer relationships, providing thought leadership, strategic storytelling, and unlocking new opportunities through insights innovations, best practices, and partnerships. Key responsibilities include: Setting strategy, prioritizing resources, and deploying talent to ensure the development of best-in-class and ground-breaking insights that shape business direction. Providing people leadership that drives engagement and ensures the success of the team, including vision, coaching, development, and definition on how work is deployed with key stakeholders. Partnering across FSOP Sales, Marketing, Business Planning, Industry, and Customer Value & Growth (CVG) leadership teams to define top opportunities to address through a robust analytics and testing agenda. Continuously navigating and surveying the competitive environment to ensure keen awareness of marketplace opportunities and risks, leveraging external marketplace intelligence to inform business planning, enhance customer conversations, and set proactive direction to capture opportunities. Collaborating across the arenaflex global network to ensure optimal use of resources, knowledge sharing, extraction of applicable learning, and expansion of the insights capabilities of the FSOP organization. Setting strategic guidance on critical insights and storytelling required to win business renewals and customers that drive growth for the arenaflex system. Identifying and deploying the latest technologies, partnerships, and innovative approaches to ensure fast-paced and agile insights development. Key Focus Areas The Senior Director II, Customer Strategic Insights will focus on the following key areas: Strategic Thinking and Strategy Development Defining and setting the agenda for critical insights and marketplace intelligence needs of the organization. Partnering in the development of the annual business plan, driving FSOP strategy and opportunities, and ensuring the plan has a relevant FSOP strategy to win in the marketplace. Driving awareness of, and connectivity to, consumer and marketplace trends to enable thought leadership against the arenaflex Value Bundle. Relationship Management Acting as a network partner to ensure connectivity with other insights organizations, leading the way for knowledge sharing and application of growth-driving intelligence for FSOP customer partners. Building strong team-oriented relationships with other key internal business units and/or global partners that result in greater opportunities for the FSOP business. People Leadership & Development Recruiting and retaining a high-performance team, and serving as an advocate for future career opportunities and personal growth/development. Setting the agenda for training and capability building of the organization to enable deeper thought leadership in customer relationships. Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, with a preferred MBA or other graduate degree. 10+ years of experience in the CPG industry, with senior-level experience within the consumer goods/beverages industry. An innovative and collaborative mindset, comfortable with disruption and able to pivot with business changes. People leadership/management experience, specifically experience leading leaders of others. Customer experience in the Foodservice or CPG industry or adjacent businesses (i.e., digital, supplier, bottler, etc.). Demonstrated success in leading geographically dispersed teams. Experience across multiple disciplines beyond FSOP management (Human Insights, Revenue Growth Management, etc.). Advanced analytical capability and critical thinking to probe, assess, and advise on meaningful solutions. Business planning experience and general management mindset/holistic view of the business. Risk-taking and unafraid to disrupt the status quo, think differently, and drive new ways of working. Capabilities with customer-specific data sources and data providers, as well as internal tools, dashboards, and data sources. Drives organizational performance, efficiency, and effectiveness. Compensation and Benefits arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, with a pay range of $224,100 - $257,600, depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position. The Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage is 50, indicating performance at target.
