Senior Exercise Instructor (Virtual, Bilingual English/Spanish)

Televeda is an online platform dedicated to combating loneliness and social isolation through engaging, interactive experiences for older adults. We are seeking a passionate, encouraging, and bilingualSenior Exercise Instructor to lead virtual fitness classes designed specifically for older adults, including many participants who are navigating physical limitations, balance challenges, or reduced mobility. As aSenior Exercise Instructor, you will lead 1 to 2 virtual classes per week, creating a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment where participants feel safe, capable, and motivated to move in ways that work for their bodies.Key Responsibilities• Lead virtual senior-friendly exercise classes in a fun, patient, and highly accessible way. • Adapt movements and offer modifications so participants of many ability levels can feel successful. • Create a warm, welcoming class culture where participants feel encouraged and supported. • Engage participants from diverse backgrounds, locations, and experiences. • Provide clear verbal instruction and visual demonstrations appropriate for a virtual setting. • Prepare thoroughly for each class and collaborate with the Televeda team as needed for promotion and engagement.• Teach confidently in both English and Spanish to support our bilingual community. Scheduling Details• Classes are scheduled based on instructor availability and participant needs. • Most classes take place on weekdays during daytime hours. • Expect to teach 1 to 2 classes per week. Qualifications• Experience leading senior fitness, adaptive exercise, gentle movement, or similar accessible classes. • Fluent in both English and Spanish. • Warm, energetic personality with a genuine desire to build community and promote wellness.• Strong communication skills and patience for virtual instruction. • Reliable computer, working camera, and strong internet connection for clear demonstrations. • Must carry your own liability insurance. This is a requirement for all fitness instructors on the Televeda platform. Independent Contractor AgreementThis is a contractor position, not an employee role. Instructors are responsible for maintaining their own liability insurance. Televeda does not provide insurance coverage for instructors. Your insurance should cover your teaching activities.You are not required to extend coverage to Televeda or its employees, shareholders, or affiliates. Your bio, photo, and class descriptions may be used for promotional purposes while you are under contract with Televeda.
