Solar Construction Manager

Our continued commitment to safety, innovation, and operational excellence allows us to support both traditional and renewable energy sectors with the same trusted expertise.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee utility-scale solar farm projects. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards. The Construction Manager will coordinate with project leadership, subcontractors, and field teams to drive performance and execution while upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:• Lead and manage daily on-site construction activities for large-scale solar farm projects. • Ensure adherence to the project schedule, contract requirements, and industry best practices. • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety procedures, environmental standards, and quality control measures. • Direct and support field superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors in executing work plans. • Oversee project productivity and track progress against schedule milestones, identifying risks or delays and implementing corrective actions.• Manage subcontractor performance, including scheduling, scope adherence, and conflict resolution. • Collaborate with project management to align on budgetary goals, procurement schedules, and resource allocation. • Provide regular progress updates, reports, and forecasting to project stakeholders. • Support project completion, closeout, and turnover processes, ensuring documentation and inspections are properly executed. Qualifications:Education &Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.• Minimum 7+ years of construction management experience, with at least 3+ years in renewable energy or utility-scale solar projects. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:• Strong understanding of solar construction methods, including pile driving, racking, module installation, civil works, and electrical systems. • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and renewable energy compliance requirements. • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage subcontractors in a fast-paced project environment. • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Primavera P6, or equivalent) and bolthires Office Suite. • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
