SOP & Systems Documentation Specialist - Turn Loom Videos into SOPs
I’m looking for a detail-oriented assistant who can watch Loom videos (and other training videos of me explaining how we do things in the company) and turn them into clear, step-by-step SOPs. Most videos will cover tasks like:- Posting content on social media (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)- Editing YouTube Shorts / Reels- Uploading and optimizing videos (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails)- Simple admin and marketing workflows (e.g., posting blogs, repurposing content)Your job:- Watch my Loom/video trainings in full- Pause, rewind, and catch details most people would miss- Extract the exact steps and turn them into a repeatable process- Create SOPs in Google Docs and/or tools like Scribe / ScribeHow- Add screenshots where helpful (no need to design, just clear visuals)- Organize SOPs into a simple structure so a new team member could follow them with zero contextWhat I’m looking for:- Strong written English- Very high attention to detail- Comfortable learning from long videos- Experience creating SOPs, documentation, or training materialsBonus: familiarity with YouTube, social media content, real estate, or online marketingDeliverable example:- For a 10–20 minute Loom video, I expect:- A Google Doc SOP with:- Short overview (what this process does, when to use it)- Tools needed (logins, URLs, software)- Step-by-step checklist (1, 2, 3, …) with any decision points- Screenshots where helpful- Common mistakes / tipsTo apply, please:Share 1–2 examples of SOPs or process docs you’ve created (blur sensitive info if needed).Tell me what tools you prefer for documenting processes (Google Docs, Scribe, Notion, etc.). In 3–4 sentences, tell me how you would approach creating a SOP from a 15-minute Loom video where I talk fast and jump around a bit.
