Sr Manager, Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

Summary The mission of the Senior Manager, RBS (Regal Rexnord Business System), is to coach, teach, and facilitate continuous improvement activities across all sites within the Chain, Belt Drives, and Components division. This position will be responsible for process improvement, facilitating cost out activities, and driving a Lean manufacturing culture. This role is a global, multi-site functional leader within the division. This role supports the multiple manufacturing sites located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Germany. Key Outcomes Deliver cost savings across the division Increase the number of Kaizen and other improvement activities by 10x annually within the first two years Increase total Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) / Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) savings by 2x year-over-year across the division by the end of year two Develop the Lean roadmap for our division Partner with local leadership to complete Policy Deployment / X-Matrix / Hoshin Kanri development at each manufacturing site by the end of year two Train, coach, and mentor staff on RBS processes and methodology Coach plant managers and other site leadership on manufacturing best practices Standardize and drive consistent operations management practices at all sites Partner with local leadership to create development plans for all local RBS leaders by the end of year 1 Train 10 Lean Tool Champions within the first two years Critical Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess the following competencies: Communication: Speaks and writes clearly and articulately Collaboration: Reaches out to peers and cooperates with leaders to establish an overall collaborative working relationship Persuasion: Able to convince others to pursue a course of action Proactivity: Acts without being told what to do. Focuses on key priorities Attention to Detail: Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project Minimum Requirements Ability to travel---including international travel---up to 75% of the time. Frequency of required travel may increase or decrease based on active CI initiatives. 7+ years of experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives in Industrial Manufacturing required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience Significant experience leading project teams through continuous improvement culture transformation required Understanding of ERP systems in a large organizational environment Experience directly supervising teams in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred Preferred Requirements Six Sigma certification preferred Multi-site leadership experience preferred Organizational Fit At Regal Rexnord, our associates live our values.
