Contract Attorney (DRS) Contractor
Position Summary Contractor Remote Work you'll do The Contract Attorney (JD) contractor supports engagement teams by assembling and analyzing matter-related facts, executing engagement workflows, and performing legally trained document review (including relevance, issue coding, privilege, and redactions). The role also supports engagement administration, document handling processes (including chain of custody), and report preparation under engagement-specific instructions. Roles And Responsibilities • Assist with assembling, analyzing, and documenting facts for engagement matters. • Assist in executing engagement workflow and engagement administration activities. • Assist with imaging, media processing, document tracking, and chain of custody requirements. • Support engagement software access and troubleshooting. • Assist in preparing reports based on business issues and facts being analyzed. • Participate in the review of contracts and other documents following instructions and guidelines provided by team. • Participate in document review requiring legal training and education, including substantive relevancy determinations, issue coding, privilege review, and redaction review, based on engagement needs. • Assist in performing quality control (QC) activities for document review as needed. Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Bar exam: Must have passed the bar exam in at least one jurisdiction (and be in good standing if required by the engagement). • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of engagement management and clients; ability to balance multiple projects and responsibilities. • Professional demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. • Knowledge of litigation management and document review software, including but not limited to Concordance, Introspect, and Relativity; familiarity with cloud providers as required. • Flexibility with travel requirements, as needed. • Foreign language capability, as required for the engagement. The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $32- $38 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
