About Your Role As a Customer Engagement Manager at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in leading our store team to deliver an engaging, personalized shopping experience for our customers. You'll be responsible for setting the standards for customer engagement, ensuring that every pet and pet parent has a positive experience in our stores. Your passion for pets and customer service will shine through as you get to know our customers and their pets, creating a tailored shopping experience that meets their unique needs. Pet Parent Engagement: You'll lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and personalized. You'll work closely with our associates to create a welcoming and inclusive store environment that makes every pet parent feel valued and supported. Associate Leadership: As a leader, you'll be responsible for guiding and developing a team of retail and pet care associates who share your passion for pets and customer service. You'll provide coaching, training, and feedback to help your team members grow and develop in their roles, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Overall Retail Initiatives: You'll be responsible for driving the success of our store by ensuring that our associates have extensive knowledge of pet solutions, building connections with pet parents, and creating a safe and fun environment in our stores. You'll work closely with our store management team to implement retail initiatives and promotions that drive sales, customer engagement, and loyalty. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful as a Customer Engagement Manager at arenaflex, you'll need: 2+ years of retail management experience: You'll need to have experience leading teams and driving sales growth in a fast-paced retail environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and store management, building strong relationships and resolving conflicts in a professional and courteous manner. Passion for pets and customer service: You'll need to be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and making a difference in the lives of pets and pet parents. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: You'll need to be able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease. Preferred qualifications: Experience in the pet care industry, pet ownership, or animal-related field is preferred but not required.
