Our Information and Investigation group is dedicated to harnessing the power of data to create innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders. **Job Responsibilities:** As a Lead Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Contributing to the design and development of our data products and data warehouses, focusing on data analysis and science * Planning and implementing flexible data warehousing solutions, building ETL pipelines in large data environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid) * Our tech stack includes Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, Flink, and Windstream, with languages including Python, Scala * Helping engineer data solutions/structures and defining data models for the core data warehouse and data shops * Collaborating with Data Product Managers, Data Modelers, and Data Architects to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions * Maintaining detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data governance * Ensuring high operational productivity and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support our clients (Data Science, Data Analysis groups) * Being an active member and advocate of agile/scrum practice to ensure well-being and cycle enhancements for your team **Key Capabilities:** * Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets * Experienced insight with distributed frameworks like Flink, Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data * Solid programming skills in Python, Java/Scala * Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query) * Strong involvement in data integration toolsets (i.e Windstream) and writing and maintaining data pipelines * Solid knowledge of data modeling strategies and data warehousing standard practices * Familiarity with Scrum and Agile approaches * You are a problem solver with strong analytical and relational skills * Ideal to have experience with cloud advances like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2) **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary of $24/hour * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and experienced data professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter, to [insert contact information].
