Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for handling property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and billing inquiries via telephone. Your expertise in P&C insurance will enable you to provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium. As a representative of arenaflex, you will be the face of the company, ensuring that customers receive professional, efficient, and courteous service. Key Responsibilities Contact policyholders through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal, enhancing retention and meeting customer needs. Counsel policyholders on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to ensure sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance. Make recommendations and process changes to policies, documenting all activity in EPIC. Utilize knowledge of the insurance industry and arenaflex policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service, including processing insurance verification forms and acting as a liaison between customers and insurance companies. Identify opportunities to apply discounts, recognize cross-sell opportunities, and obtain quote information. Review policy information, assist insured in filing claims, and mail documentation as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment. A Property and Casualty insurance license, with a Membership license preferred or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. A strong understanding of insurance industry principles, including policy coverage, limits, and state laws. Proficiency in EPIC and other software applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
