About the Role We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our Bookkeeping team. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements, ensuring accurate reporting of working costs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger Be a key owner of the monthly close process for assigned regions and entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion Maintain financial records for management and GAAP consolidated financial statements using accepted methodologies Assist in providing audit support to external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews Communicate with FP&A, operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to drive process improvement initiatives Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry or role Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification a plus Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, SOX/internal controls Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite, or similar accounting software Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently, think critically, and make sound judgments Strong time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Qualifications Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven track record of adapting to change Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide insights Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical accounting skills, with the ability to apply US GAAP and PCAOB standards Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholders Ability to work independently, think critically, and make sound judgments, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
