Terms of Employment and Responsibilities This role is a W2 contract position for 12 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs. As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for performing a variety of support functions to assist the department in achieving its goals. Your key responsibilities will include: Handling multiple projects simultaneously and assisting in compiling data and generating reports to support business decisions. Utilizing your fast typing skills to accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems. Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders, demonstrating a good command of English both orally and in writing. Maintaining strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work and adherence to deadlines. Collaborating with team members to achieve departmental objectives and contribute to process improvements. Required Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and experience: A high school degree or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a data entry clerk, with a strong track record of accuracy and efficiency. Fast typing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, including MS Office Word and Excel. Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices. Basic understanding of databases and data management principles. Good command of English, both oral and written, with excellent customer service skills. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high-quality work under pressure. Preferred Skills and Experience While not essential, the following skills and experience are preferred: Knowledge of touch typing systems, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately. Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively. Equipment Specifications and Requirements To perform this role, you will need to have access to the following equipment and technology: Dual monitors, with the ability to have Teams and Outlook open simultaneously. A keyboard with a 10-key number pad, for efficient data entry. Windows 10 or 11 operating system, with a minimum screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 (higher preferred). ISP download speed of 25Mbps or higher, to support remote work and video conferencing. A web camera, for participating in Teams meetings and virtual collaborations. A headset or external speakers, for clear communication and calls. Please note that laptops are acceptable, but they must be able to run an external monitor at the prescribed resolution. Unfortunately, Chromebooks and Macbooks are not compatible with our systems.
