Job Description Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Student Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our facilities and recreational services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing exceptional customer service to our diverse range of customers. Key Responsibilities Greet patrons and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors to our facilities Assist customers with various questions and problems, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash removal, equipment maintenance, and laundry duties, to maintain a clean and safe environment Support special event set-up and operations, ensuring seamless execution and excellent customer experiences Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons, completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies as required Serve as a first responder to accidents within the building, providing emergency assistance and support as needed Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications: Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications, or the ability to obtain these certifications within the first 30 days of employment BBP Certification, or the ability to obtain this certification within the first 30 days of employment Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required Strong team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service, facilities management, or a related field Knowledge of emergency response procedures and protocols Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move around the facility as required Basic first aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain these certifications within the first 30 days of employment Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences Basic knowledge of facilities management and maintenance procedures, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports as required Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
