VCG Attorney Recruiting is representing a growing transactional law firm seeking a Real Estate Finance Attorney with 8+ years of experience. The role involves managing complex commercial real estate finance transactions and providing legal advice to various stakeholders in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Structure, draft and negotiate complex commercial loan documents, including loan agreements, promissory notes, guarantees, security instruments, and intercreditor agreements
- Lead acquisition, construction, and development financing transactions
- Advice on mezzanine financing, preferred equity structures, and layered capital stacks
- Handle multi-property and portfolio financing
- Oversee title, survey, zoning, and collateral due diligence
- Manage transactions from term sheet through closing
- Interface directly with sophisticated clients, capital providers, and opposing counsel
Skills
- 8+ years of commercial real estate financing experience
- BigLaw training and experience
- Strong lender-side experience in complex secured financing transactions
- Significant responsibility drafting and negotiating primary loan documentation
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple high-level transactions
- Strong academic credentials
- Admission to any state bar
- Experience with structured finance, construction loans, and private equity-backed transactions
