Lead Supply Chain Manager
About the position This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager - REMOTE. This role plays a pivotal part in streamlining the supply chain process, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and facilitating effective collaborations between various teams and external partners. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee critical operations that prevent back orders and minimize excess inventory risks. This position not only focuses on analytical oversight but also emphasizes performance management and team development within the Supply Chain Planning team. Additional responsibilities include strategic planning and the utilization of industry tools to enhance supply chain efficacy. Responsibilities • Determine best practices for executing and leveraging tools for optimal supply chain flow. • Support business partners to ensure supply chain alignment and growth. • Identify solutions and address issues in demand planning and logistics. • Manage and develop Supply Chain Planning team members. • Execute annual Department budget planning and management. • Prepare and present comprehensive metrics, reports, and analyses. • Utilize planning toolsets like SAP, MRP, and ERP II. • Collaborate with corporate to maintain SOPs and training documentation. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations or related field. • 6+ years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain. • Five years of combined experience in supply chain/logistics. • Strong knowledge of SAP, MRP systems, and inventory management. • Experience with capacity planning and performance metrics. • APICS certification or willingness to pursue certification.
