The role involves designing and evaluating civil engineering scenarios, assessing the feasibility of AI-generated content, and collaborating with researchers to improve datasets used in AI systems. Responsibilities • Design, review, and evaluate technically accurate questions and scenarios based on civil engineering technologist and technician workflows • Apply practical civil engineering knowledge to assess feasibility, accuracy, and real-world applicability of AI-generated content • Contribute insights related to construction methods, materials testing, surveying, drafting, and infrastructure projects • Review and refine prompts to ensure alignment with industry standards, safety practices, and technical documentation • Collaborate with researchers to improve structured datasets used for training and evaluating AI systems Skills • Strong experience working as a civil engineering technologist or technician • Solid understanding of civil engineering practices, drawings, specifications, and field procedures • Ability to interpret technical documents, plans, and construction data accurately • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail • Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous research environment Company Overview • At Crossing Hurdles, we specialise in customised recruitment and staffing solutions designed to drive success for businesses and professionals.
