Job Title: Technical Project Manager - (Project & Product Focus) with Retail Background Remote Job Summary: We are looking for a highly capable Technical Project Manager (TPM) with extensive experience in the Retail sector to lead and deliver business-critical technology initiatives. This role requires a hybrid capability-someone who can manage end-to-end project delivery while also contributing to product definition and strategy. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SAP BW and HANA, excels in complex stakeholder environments, and is confident in both execution and leadership roles. Strong communication skills, change management experience, and the ability to drive outcomes in challenging settings are essential. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects across retail functions, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Partner with stakeholders to define product needs, contribute to roadmap development, and support backlog prioritization. • Deliver initiatives involving SAP BW and HANA, ensuring robust data reporting and analytics capabilities. • Facilitate and run Steering Committees (SteerCos), executive updates, and governance forums with clarity and impact. • Serve as a trusted liaison between business and technology teams, driving alignment and accountability. • Manage cross-functional project teams, timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets. • Apply structured change management methodologies to drive adoption and sustainment of new processes or systems. • Communicate effectively at all levels-technical teams, business users, and executive leadership. • Take ownership of project outcomes, driving delivery excellence in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. Required Skills and Experience: • 14+ years of experience in technical project management, with demonstrated ability to contribute in product-oriented roles. • Proven background in the retail industry, with strong understanding of business processes and customer-facing operations. • In-depth experience with SAP BW and HANA technologies. • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including working with challenging or senior stakeholders. • Outstanding verbal and written communication; experienced in executive-level reporting and decision-making forums. • Proven leadership in managing complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end. • Familiarity with product lifecycle management, MVP definition, and agile feature development. • Hands-on experience with change management initiatives across enterprise functions. Preferred Qualifications: • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, SAFe, CSM).
