Your primary responsibility will be to process and manage various financial transactions, including checking processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers. You'll work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and financial institutions to ensure seamless and secure transactions. **What You'll Do** As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Completing daily tasks related to checking processing, object processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers * Coordinating with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and ensure timely processing * Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing * Working on member cases and tasks assigned to you * Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws * Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams * Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products * Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns * Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching * Completing daily balancing and department closing * Obtaining information from contributors for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests * Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information * Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers * Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws * Depositing check returns, reviewing member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers * Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees **All You'll Need for Success** To excel in this role, you'll need: **Minimum Qualifications** * High school degree or GED * Intermediate Excel and Word experience **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous customer/member service experience * Previous banking or Credit Union experience * Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience **Skills, Licenses & Certifications** * Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience, education, or hands-on use * Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs * Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills * Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure conditions * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision * Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines * Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance * Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
