Job Overview The Client Systems group at arenaflex is seeking an experienced Java Developer to help us build and deliver new solutions. As a Java Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across arenaflex, working closely with our business leaders and various stakeholders to implement these new solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting large-scale enterprise-level systems, and you should be able to work independently, prioritize requirements, and develop solutions for complex systems and content, with the ability to work under pressure occasionally. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support Java and Java Enterprise applications, including architecture, design, development, and maintenance. Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs. Work with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Develop and maintain large-scale enterprise-level systems, including back-end systems, APIs, and data storage solutions. Ensure the security and reliability of our systems, and develop solutions that are scalable, efficient, and meet the needs of our customers. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience with Java and Java Enterprise development, including design, development, and maintenance of large-scale enterprise-level systems. Proven experience with Java, Spring, multi-threading, REST, Data Storage Solutions, DB design, and data access technologies. Experience with artificial intelligence and building solutions for large-scale data processing. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including secure coding, authentication, and authorization.
