Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling air travel to the public, providing assistance with passenger check-in and load acceptance, and interpreting authority guidelines and requirements for domestic and international travel or shipment shipments. You will also be required to meet and dispatch aircraft within set-up times, provide support to troubled passengers and clients, and protect company properties and revenue. Key Responsibilities Promote and sell air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders Provide assistance with passenger check-in and load acceptance Interpret authority guidelines and requirements for domestic and international travel or shipment shipments Meet and dispatch aircraft within set-up times Provide support to troubled passengers and clients Protect company properties and revenue Possess the physical capability and dexterity to apply motor skills to perform various job-related tasks Use organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time period Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision Respond and assist during safety and emergency situations Follow internal/external regulations and procedures May be required to drive and operate air stairs to various types of aircraft in order to enplane and deplane passengers Responsible for the overall performance within the work location and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions such as air to ground communication as well as Tower functions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: High school diploma or GED Read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language Bilingual language skills are required in some locations Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted admission to privileges to airport security identity display areas (SIDA), if applicable Must be able to obtain suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays Must report to work on a regular and timely basis Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service or a related field Knowledge of air travel and freight operations Experience working in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy Career Growth Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
