About the Role As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you will play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations, ensuring that customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location. Our Operation's workflow has three major components: First mile, where the product is housed and ready for order; Middle mile, where the order is hauled to your area; and Last mile, when the product is delivered to the customer's door. While our workflows may have slight building variations, one thing remains constant: our vision and dedication to the customer. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve their full potential Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure a seamless customer experience Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to ensure efficient operations Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, working in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather, including outside loading departments Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs), demonstrating agility and adaptability Essential Qualifications To succeed as an Area Manager at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Proven leadership experience, with a strong track record of motivating and engaging teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Physical ability to lift, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, with the ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Experience in operations management, logistics, or a related field Knowledge of lean principles and process improvement methodologies Experience working in a unionized environment, with a strong understanding of labor relations Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to drive business decisions through data insights Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Leadership : Ability to lead, motivate, and engage teams to achieve their full potential Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions Adaptability : Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Data Analysis : Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to drive business decisions through data insights Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
