Job Overview In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of our Warehouse Management Framework, as well as acting as the local point of contact between the Data Center and Application Development departments. You will work closely with the Network/Telecom departments and the Technology Office to facilitate, analyze, and implement physical infrastructure that supports our Distribution Center. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will be critical to our success. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with MHE vendors as it relates to data handling and processing Work with all smart devices, including Sortation Control Systems Manage all data backups and data recovery procedures Act as a liaison between the warehouse office, WMS vendor, and MIS Department for issue resolution Support all data processing equipment, including printers and terminals Maintain LAN (Local) design and architecture Implement all future releases of software and updates Coordinate inventory tracking of in-stock supplies, including forms, labels, and other materials, and report usage to MIS Supervise non-exempt staff and provide guidance and support as needed Maintain all control tables within the WMS, including access security Monitor the performance of the system application to ensure it is available and accessible to all end-users Manage the peripheral connections with the WMS, such as Neoware Terminals, RF Devices, and Printers Oversee and monitor end-user access and privileges, and report to the SOX Compliance Office on a quarterly basis Develop reporting tools for users to have better visibility into the WMS and Operational Metrics, using tools such as Crystal Reports or Cognos Report Studio Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 2+ years of IT experience, including Windows, Unix, SQL Server, Oracle, and other relevant technologies 2+ years of experience in a distribution environment (preferred) 2+ years of experience using SQL, MS-Excel, Access, and MS-Word A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as IT or Computer Science) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications Project management experience (an asset) Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (preferred) Experience with data entry and data processing Knowledge of supply chain systems and operations Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
