Job Overview As a Live Chat Customer Service Advisor at arenaflex, you will be responsible for resolving end-user inquiries utilizing multiple technologies, including chat and web-based platforms. Your primary goal will be to provide complete and accurate information to customers on every live chat interaction, ensuring that their issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. You will be an integral part of our customer service team, working closely with management to handle special projects and respond to all inbound chats. Key Responsibilities Resolve end-user inquiries through live chat and web-based platforms, utilizing multiple technologies to provide timely and effective solutions Provide complete and accurate information to customers on every live chat interaction, researching account activity and notes promptly and efficiently Handle and resolve situations with customers in a timely and effective manner, escalating issues as needed Assist management with special projects relating to customer service, contributing to the growth and development of our team Respond to all inbound chats and assist management for the entire shift, with exception of assigned break times Handle multiple job tasks at one time, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet performance goals Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Willingness to accept a temporary assignment and adapt to changing circumstances Minimum of 3 months live chat experience, with a proven track record of resolving customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner Ability to pass a typing speed test and type 50 WPM, with excellent written and verbal communication skills At least 1 year of professional customer service experience, preferably in a large Call Center environment as a chat agent Ability to sit and work at a desk and on the computer for extended periods of time, with a quiet, distraction-free work environment Ability to take inbound (voice) phone calls in a conversation-heavy environment, with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English (equivalent to CEF B2 level or above), with excellent grammar and spelling skills High School diploma or GED, with a strong educational foundation and a desire to learn and grow Must be at least 18 years old, with a mature and professional approach to customer service Ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on call center needs and customer demand Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet, along with basic data entry and word processing skills Must reside within an approved state, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace Essential Qualifications In addition to the requirements listed above, the ideal candidate will have: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of customer interactions and a strong focus on performance metrics Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of customer service Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a large Call Center environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices Knowledge of customer service software and technologies, including live chat and web-based platforms Certifications or training in customer service, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
